02. Right to Information
Your right to clear and honest product details
- Every product listed on FinxCart must include an accurate title, full description, pricing, delivery method, and any technical requirements or limitations.
- Vendors are prohibited from using misleading, exaggerated, or false claims in their product listings, screenshots, or promotional materials.
- You have the right to know the identity of the vendor selling a product, including their business name and contact information, before completing a purchase.
- All fees, commissions, and charges must be disclosed upfront. FinxCart does not allow hidden charges at checkout.
- If a product\'s description, functionality, or pricing changes after your purchase, you are entitled to the version of the product as described at the time of your order.
03. Right to Safety
Protection from harmful or fraudulent products
- FinxCart actively reviews and moderates vendor listings to prevent the sale of fraudulent, unlicensed, or harmful digital products.
- Any product that poses a risk of financial harm through deceptive performance claims, fake returns, or misleading trading results is strictly prohibited on the platform.
- Vendors must comply with all applicable UAE regulations before listing any product related to financial services, Forex tools, or investment-related software.
- FinxCart does not allow vendors to collect sensitive buyer financial information outside of the approved payment gateway process.
- If you encounter a product or vendor you believe is fraudulent or unsafe, you can report it immediately through the platform\'s reporting system or by contacting FinxCart support.
04. Right to Refund & Remedy
When and how you can claim a refund or resolution
- You are entitled to a refund or replacement if a product is significantly not as described, non-functional, or was never delivered within the stated timeframe.
- Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase through the FinxCart Resolution Center. Our team will review and respond within 5–10 business days.
- If a vendor refuses a legitimate refund, FinxCart has the authority to intervene and issue a platform-level resolution in your favour.
- Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days depending on the payment gateway used.
- If your dispute is not resolved through FinxCart\'s Resolution Center, you have the right to escalate your complaint to the UAE Ministry of Economy\'s Consumer Protection Department.
05. Right to Fair Treatment
Protection from discrimination and unfair practices
- Every buyer on FinxCart has the right to be treated fairly and with respect, regardless of their nationality, language, location, or purchase history.
- Vendors must not apply discriminatory pricing, preferential treatment, or refuse service to buyers based on protected characteristics.
- FinxCart prohibits all forms of aggressive, deceptive, or manipulative commercial practices including false urgency, fake reviews, and misleading performance claims.
- Promotional offers and discounts advertised on the platform must be genuine. Vendors may not inflate original prices to create a false impression of savings.
- You have the right to leave an honest review of any product or vendor. FinxCart prohibits vendors from pressuring, incentivising, or retaliating against buyers for their reviews.
06. Right to Data Privacy
How your personal data is protected on FinxCart
- Your personal data is collected, stored, and processed in accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.
- You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data held by FinxCart at any time by contacting our Data Protection team.
- FinxCart will never sell your personal data to third parties or use it for purposes beyond those stated in our Privacy Policy without your explicit consent.
- You have the right to withdraw your consent to marketing communications at any time through your account settings or by contacting support.
- In the event of a data breach affecting your personal information, FinxCart will notify you promptly and take immediate steps to mitigate any harm.
07. How to File a Complaint
Steps to raise a concern or dispute on FinxCart
- Step 1 — Contact the Vendor: Use the FinxCart messaging system to contact the vendor directly and allow up to 48 hours for a response before escalating.
- Step 2 — Open a Dispute: If unresolved, go to your Order History, select the order, and click 'Open Dispute' to submit your complaint to the FinxCart Resolution Center within 7 days of purchase.
- Step 3 — FinxCart Review: Our team will review the evidence submitted by both parties and issue a binding decision within 5–10 business days.
- Step 4 — Escalate Externally: If you are unsatisfied with FinxCart\'s decision, you may escalate your complaint to the UAE Ministry of Economy Consumer Protection Department at consumerprotection.gov.ae.
08. UAE Legal Framework
Laws and regulations that protect you as a consumer
- Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection: The primary legislation governing consumer rights in the UAE, ensuring fair trade practices and protecting buyers from deceptive commercial conduct.
- Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on Personal Data Protection: Governs how personal data must be collected, stored, processed, and protected by businesses operating in the UAE.
- Cabinet Resolution No. 66 of 2023 (E-Commerce Regulations): Regulates electronic commerce activities in the UAE, including online marketplace obligations, digital product disclosures, and buyer protections.
- UAE Central Bank & DFSA Regulations: Vendors listing any financial products or services on FinxCart must comply with applicable UAE Central Bank and DFSA licensing and disclosure requirements.
